DISCIPLINE OF MORALITY AND SOUL

“The cheekbone machine is out of order… jeez!”

I’m not a sports buff. I can quote Voltaire, Rimbaud, Lord Byron and David Bowie. However, I am so in awe of the discipline required to play in major league sports. The discipline, focus and commitment makes my efforts look like a kid learning how to ride a bicycle.

I can get to the gym most mornings and work out hard. What drives me is personal victories. Discipline of morality and soul.

I am inspired by those who are determined enough in everything they do to transcend the reasons not to do what they do! Simple as that. Athletes give me the unique belief in personal ability. Not pride and not conceit, but satisfaction in transcending all the corruption and suffering that surrounds us….and getting the job done, whatever it is.
