I see your proud photographs of new lives, babies with the promise of a more loving future. I see pictures of challenged old folks being cared for by their adult children. Holidays, achievements, anger and rants. In other words Humanity!
From the distance of my time in Rome, I miss the foibles and eccentricities of my adopted country. Much love to my brothers and sisters, for no matter what the fearful cynics say, we are a family. All of us related and connected!
Treat each other like you would like to be treated and hold each other as often as possible! Metaphorically, carnally or otherwise.
Much love from half way across the world. Now… back to the microphone!
