Christmas is coming and the goose is anorexic. However, nothing can take away the charm, glamour and compassion of Christmas for me!
Of all many man-made fables, Christmas is my favorite. It’s really just us humans trying to make sense of an energy we don’t understand, turning it into a god or goddess or Father Christmas. Mother Nature… the incomprehensibilities of divinity are a curious conceit.
Surrender and faith interest me more every day. Blind ambition has mutated into clear vision and an understanding of where we will all fit in this galactic jigsaw puzzle. If one tiny piece is missing, the puzzle cannot be solved. Individuality is symbolized by this child’s game. Life is not a puzzle to be solved, life is a game to be played with no victories and no defeats. The experience is what makes life complete.
We live in the age of distraction, with devices dividing us from the moment. In truth, cell phones, iPads and computers remove the moment. They capture it for memory, but they negate the experience. Living in the past and the future is the technological way of removing us from right here and right now.
Well… right now it’s Christmas, and I’m going to enjoy every second of it! All of the cookies and all of the smiles! Tomorrow, I will run for miles!
Merry Christmas to all my friends without whom I wouldn’t exist… under the mistletoe, you will be kissed.
